Make Fire background

Burn everything down to ash. This tutorial shows you how to make a fire texture.

Step 1

Make a new document, size 800 x 600 px

Filter >> Render >> Cloud

Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur with 7.0 px

Step 2

Then go to Filter >> Sketch >> Chalk & Charcoal with these parameter.

Hit Ctrl + U

Duplicate layer, choose another green color, then Merge Visible (Ctrl + Shift + E )

Duplicate again, then go to Filter >> Blur >> Radial Blur

Step 3

Then, duplicate layer “background copy” , mode = Screen , duplicate “background copy” again, Rotate 180 degree, mode = Screen too

Result !

Step 4

Creat new layer, fill black color, using Eliptical Marquee Tool make a circle selection. Hit Alt + Ctrl + D to open Feather Selection box

Set blendind mode = Soft Light for this layer.

Duplicate the above layer ^^! , go to Edit >> Transform >> Scale, scale it. When scale , hold Shift + Alt to keep these “scales”.
